The Study of the Relationship between the School Internal Public Relations and School Effectiveness in Taipei Junior High School
The goal of this study is about the relationship between the school
Internal public relations and school effectiveness, and make conclusions and
suggestions practically, hoping to offer some references to educational
administration and schools to improve the of school effectiveness.
The research methods are literary analysis and questionnaire survey. First,
to search related literatures, and study the meanings, aspects and the
measurement of school internal public relations and school effectiveness in
Junior High School, and then to study the relationships between the two. In
addition, to use the questionnaire by mails, investigate the related
information of school internal public relations and school effectiveness, and
analyze the results, and interview 17 school staves. Finally, make conclusions
from the discovery of the research.
The samples of this study are 557 school staves of 21 Junior High Schools
locating in the Taipei. The results are analyzed by means, standard deviations,
t- test , one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product-moment correlation, multiple
stepwise regression analysis.
The results are as follows:
1.The Junior High School's school internal public relations and school
effectiveness are beyond the average level.
2.The Junior High School's school internal public relations is differentiated
by the varied causes of personal background.
3.The school effectiveness is differentiated by the varied causes of personal
background.
4.There are high position correlation between the whole and every dimension
of school internal public relations and the ones of school effectiveness.
5.The higher the school internal public relations, the better the school
effectiveness.
6. School internal public relations has high explanation of the whole and
every dimention of school effectiveness.
Finally, based on the researching results, discussion and conclusions, the
researcher advances the suggestions for “educational administrative officers
”, “The Junior High School's leaders”, “The Junior High School's school
staves” and “researchers In the future”, hoping that they can be of
referential value as far as administration research and practice are
concerned. And that they can to be the references of promoting of school
internal public relations and improving the school effectiveness. |
