1、起源：
政治經濟學研究室旨在研究政治因素與經濟因素的互動關係。此互動關係可發生在國與國之間、國內不同行為者之間、超越國家與國內的界線，諸如貿易、金融、環保、人權、服務業、利益團體、工業政策、公共政策、國際組織等所涉及政治與經濟的互動關係。研究政治經濟學者都來自於政治學、經濟學、社會學、歷史學、哲學、商學院及其它社會科學。
本校同仁對政治經濟學有專著者不在少數。然散布各系，平時鮮少交流觀摩的機會。政治大學政治系系主任謝復生教授乃於民國85年1月16日邀請國際關係研究中心何思因副主任、外交系鄧中堅教授、公共行政系吳秀光教授、政治系黃德福教授及郭承天教授共同發起政治經濟學研究會，藉著研究會所舉辦的學術討論會及其它活動，增進社會科學相關科系學者與師生之間對政治經濟學研究的學術交流。
2、研究成果：
研究會成立以來，85年2月到6月已舉辦五場演講，分別為：政治系謝復生教授「經濟狀況與投票抉擇」，經濟系高安邦教授「敵對競爭交易：政治經濟學的個體基礎」，政治系郭承天教授「政治民主化與經濟發展：政治經濟結構理論」，國際關係研究中心何思因副主任「國際金融整合下之經濟自主性」，和公共行政系吳秀光教授「國際組織的政治經濟分析」。87年2月至目前已舉辦的演講分別為：國際關係研究中心方孝謙研究員「中共中央農村改革實驗下的河鎮」，政治系謝復生教授「The
Dimension of the Across-Strait Relations」，成功大學政治經濟研究所宋鎮照教授「東南亞金融風暴與我國南向政策的發展」，外交系鄧中堅教授「亞太經合會的政治經濟分析」。本學期發表文章有政治大學國關中心助理研究員蔡增家「日
3、研究室活動簡介：
本研究室目前由政治系孫善豪助理教授擔任負責人。老師乃德國柏林自由大學政治學博士，專長為馬克思主義、德國維心論哲學。近兩年在孫老師的主導下，以及本系主任及老師的指導，和同學的熱心參予協助下，從學術演講擴展到資料庫的建立、網站的建立、學術會議的舉辦、以及研究計劃的推動整合型學術活動。研討會的學術討論，擴充、豐富了學生相關領域知識的視野；集結成冊的論文集充實了學術交流的市場，充分實踐本研究室成立的宗旨與目的。
目前所進行的每一場研討會，本室都會透過學校網頁裡的校園公告系統、佈告欄海報張貼，以及對與會學者所建立的電子郵件發布通告。根據以往的統計，每一場至少約有25位相關科系（政治、經濟、社會、外交、公行、東亞所、中山所、國關中心、文化大學、東吳大學）學者及學生參與討論。此外，若對本研究室有任何相關建言，或資訊查詢者，歡迎利用本室電子信箱tper@nccu.edu.tw。
Political Economy Research, Political Science Department, NCCU
A. Establishment
Political Economy Research is also known as Taiwan Political Economy Research
(TPER) and under the Political Science Department. The history of TPER can
be traced back to January 16, 1996, when a group of professors, form different
departments and disciplines, who had common interest in studying the relations
and interactions between political and economical factors in social phenomenon,
founded the "Political Economy Workshop". In order to integrate
the resources and to facilitate the academic exchange among scholars from
the outside of school, faculty, and students inside of NCCU, TPER was subsequently
founded. After the establishment, TPER has held various meetings and conferences
to present the research accomplishment. Altogether 43 papers have been presented
in TPER and the regular meetings and conferences of TPER have become a favorable
occasion of academic exchange among scholars, faculty and students.
B. Objectives
a. To expand the research and data collecting on the subjects of political
and economical interactions in Taiwan.
b. To make political-economical analytical comparison between Taiwan and other
countries.
c. To research the political-economical interrelations between the international
system and Taiwan.
C. Research Projects
TPER provide research support and academic exchange from and to the following
National Science Council research projects under the general program of "Institutional
Adjustment in East Asia: The Challenge of and Response to Globalization".
The general program is co-directed by Prof. Szu-Yin Ho and Prof. Cheng-Tian
Kuo.
